The Casting Network is a bonded Talent Training Service created by actors for actors. As serious artists, we realize that we are the CEOs of our own company and should do everything we can to equip ourselves to continue to grow in all aspects of our craft. We provide an advanced-level educational workshop space for the discriminating professional actor to meet and train under top members of the Hollywood Casting Community. This specialize kind of traing helps our actors receive valuable insights into the creative and professional aspects of "The Business" in a face-to-face, positive and professional classroom environment. Our workshops help members to:
* hone cold-reading skills
* practice presentation of material in a non-audition setting
* overcome debilitating nerves by training with casting professionals
* de-mystify the casting process via in-person meeting and feedback
* build confidence via instruction about the current casting landscape
* increase spontaneity by responding to re-direct and coaching

While we’re thrilled that our workshops have contributed to many members’ independent success, we do not agent, manage, commission, procure or attempt to procure work for actors. In keeping with state codes, THE CASTING NETWORK conducts entirely optional workshops with solely educational intent. Our workshops are not job interviews or auditions, and the presence of an industry professional, including but not limited to: a producer, a director, or a casting director, an associate, or representative, is neither a promise or guarantee of employment or an audition. Contact with an Industry professional solely through a workshop in and of itself does not result in a contract with the guest or the production company they represent. Workshops/Showcases are not auditions for employment or for obtaining a talent agent or talent manager. Labor code: 1703.1(b).
Membership begins with a free internal audition. You must be at least 18 years old to apply.
